Final reflection on Social Campaign

Social media has helped me a lot for spreading awareness regarding my social campaign. All of the platforms were very useful and equally important.

Blogger :- This platform really helped me in writing detailed information and stories that I got. This helps to gain attention of more people, so you can reach a large audience. This platform has helped me a lot and in future I see my self using it in various times for my campaign.

Twitter :- This platform has been very helpful . Through this you can write small posts in limited number of words, so you can attach various links and share pictures very easily.

You Tube  :-  This platform is very important for sharing your message through videos. As it is widely used in the world for surfing and browsing videos. It is very helpful in spreading your message.

Facebook :-  Facebook is very useful as you can use it for communicating, socializing purpose and for spreading your message. you can make a Facebook page and it can be widely used for your campaign.

Instagram :- Instagram is very helpful when it comes to spread awareness through pictures. It has really helped and in future it can be a great help for my campaign.

LinkedIn :-  As it a professionally used network. It is a great help in finding people associated with your social campaign.


Through out my GNML sessions, there were a lot of rewarding moments but one of them that was making a video for  YouTube. It was fun and exciting both . I learned a lot from it. This was the first time that I was making  a video so there was a lot learning and excitement involved in it.

The most challenging experience was making a LinkedIn profile as it was a professionally used network. It involved a lot of learning. It was the first time that I was doing it. So it was little challenging but had a great learning as well.

There are many reasons that I want to use these platforms in future. They are great source of reaching the large number of audience, so they are a great help.

The story that I got through google alerts this time is about the survival of the kids who survived through child labor and were sent back home. Among them one of the child is 10 years old and was earning around thirty dollars a month. The other kid was 18 years old, who survived as well. This week I got a story through google alerts regarding the child labor in philippines. Its about those families whose children are engaged with child labor or are about to enter in it. its very sad that in this modren world people are still doing this. This age is of going to school. this age is about learning, palying with toys and playing sports but unfortunately due to some reasons people with less education don't realize that. here is the link to my article.child labor in philippines

Child labor in India's jewelry factory

This is the story that I got through google alerts . It is pretty sad that how these young kids have been forced work in factories and other working places. In this story , the India police rescued many of the victims of the child labor in  the city of Hyderabad . It sates that many of the kids have been brought from very under previllaged areas with very high poverty rate. Some of the children were as young as 6 years .
